9921. Devos, L., Adelberg, A., and Salomon, N. April 24. Cleansing - compositions.-Anhydrous sodium carbonate containing a small proportion, say 1 per cent, of anhydrous potassium carbonate, is used for cleaning silver, electroplate, jewellery, and the like. A tablespoonful of the powder may be dissolved in half a gallon of hot water, in which the articles are then placed so as to make contact with an immersed plate of aluminium.
