Kinematograph apparatus. - The take - up spool A for the film is driven at a speed controlled by the weight of film wound upon the spool. The spool A, its shaft B, and the bracket C carrying the driving-mechanism move down against springs G under the increasing weight of the wound film, with the result that the disk E<1> moves towards the axis of the disk D<1> and the speed transmitted is reduced.
