Jan. 9. shaving - appliances. - Relates to appliances for heating water for shaving of the type in which the water flows from a tank through a coil exposed to the flames of a lamp, and consists in utilizing the waste heat of the lamp to keep the drawn-off water hot. This may be done by forming the hot-water receptacle of a crescent shape to fit the side of the casing A surrounding the lamp E. A bracket may be attached to the casing to support the receptacle. The receptacle may be formed with a socket to receive a razor-blade. The casing A may be attached to a tray F.
