Abstract

30,315. Longmuir, W. Dec. 30. Laminar springs.-Relates to means for securing together the leaves of laminated vehicle springs of the kind in which the edges of the leaves a, Fig. 2, are provided with notches b at the centre of the spring, with which corresponding projections on the buckle c engage, and consists in swaging or pressing the buckle c on the leaves so as to fill the notches completely. The buckle is preferably made in one piece of box-like form.
