Abstract

22,943. Henrici, W. A. E. Oct. 4. Drying clothes.-A process for removing moisture from clothes or other textile materials, after they have been washed, consists in tumbling or agitating the materials in a suitable container in contact with surfaces heated internally by steam or other heating-medium, a partial vacuum being maintained in the container. The process is described as used with the rotary washing-machine of Specification 18,350/10, although it is not restricted to machines of such form. The invention is applicable to dyeing textile or other process in which textiles are first made wet and then dried.
