P r o p e l l i n g ; steering. - A rotary propeller for use on flying-machines of all types is arranged so that the blades H<1>, travel in an elliptical path. The blades are connected by cranks G with a rotating sleeve C and extensions of the bars H carrying the wings, are pivoted to limbs F which are pivoted at E' to a fixed crank E. The sleeve C is driven from the shaft A' and may be inclined with respect to the machine.
