Hand-bags.-One side of a luncheon bag for use by school children carries an exterior receptacle 2 for books, and to the other side of the bag are attached a large exterior receptacle 3 for books and two smaller receptacles 4 for pens and pencils. The closing-flaps 7, 9, 11 are secured to the metal frame 13, and the buttons 10, which secure the flaps 7, 9, are adapted to engage series of fastenings on the receptacles 2, 3. The bottoms and ends of the bag proper and of the exterior receptacles 2, 3 are pleated.
