Abstract

17,013. Fairweather, W. C., [Executor of Kubelka, J.], and Friedmann, T. July 17, 1909, [Convention date]. Hairdressers' and like blocks. -Consists in securing natural or artificial hair in pulp, for covering dolls' heads, animals' bodies, and other industrial objects, by drawing the hairs in loop form through the pulp and fixing them on the inner side or back with adhesive. The loops on the inner side may be looped together before applying the adhesive. The hairs are drawn through with a fine needle during the hardening of the pulp, the perforations made by the needle resembling pores from which the hairs are growing.
