Abstract

16,915. Fowler, R. H., and Pepper, A. July 15. Ploughs.-In a plough skife, the length of the bed for the share is made adjustable so as to suit either a share with an independent point, or a share having the point integral with the blade. The skife a is provided with two eyes c to form a socket to receive a stem d, carrying the independent share point f, or a stem n, terminating in a make-up piece k for lengthening the share bed g when an ordinary share i is used. A wedge-shaped projection m on the share i fits against the piece k. The share point f is reversible, and fits on the wedgeshaped end of the stem d. A share blade h is shown fixed on the short bed g and shaped to fit against the point f.
