Abstract
11,566. Belcher, W. J. May 13, 1909, [Convention date]. Driving and like chains with separate joint pins.-Relates to driving-chains of the type wherein side plates are provided with inwardlyextending sleeves through which connecting-pins are passed, and consists in loosely mounting a number of links on the sleeves. Sleeves d, Fig. 4, are riveted in apertures in the side plates a, and are of such length that their inner ends are flush with the side of the last member f placed on them, Fig. 1. The side plates a are pivotally joined by plates b, which may, however, be dispensed with. The chain can easily be taken to pieces by removing the cotterpins g.
