Cabins.-In constructing cabins from removable partitions arranged between vertical columns extending between decks, the columns c, Figs. 1 and 4, which are preferably cross-shaped in transverse section, are provided with supports d for detachable vertical bars f, which are of channel form to receive the edges of the partition sections l, portions of one of the side walls of the channel being cut away to enable the partition sections to be inserted. In order to render the rectangular partition sections interchangeable, in spite of the slope of the deck, they are adjustably supported at the bottom by pins k, each adapted to engage one of a series of inclined slots h cut in the sides of the channel-bars f. The bars f are supported by means of pins z adapted to drop into openended recesses in supports d. The spaces between the bars f and the columns c are masked by plates p, q, secured to the bars f.
