11,092. Thompson, B. N. May 5. Jigging conveyers.-In jigging conveyers, the trough is so oscillated by an evenly rotating crank that there is an accelerated movement during the forward motion. The trough is suspended by links b pivoted at c. The end link is connected either directly or through an extension to a connecting-rod d driven by a crank diagrammatically represented at e. The connecting - rod is arranged to be approximately horizontal when the trough is in the mid position. The trough may taper outwards in breadth from the driving end and may be fitted with screen beds.
