8754. Puthod, A. April 11. Ironing - boards. -The felt covering is secured in position by means of a cord which, when tightened, forces the felt into a groove running along the edge of the board. In the form shown in plan, the tightening is effected by rotating either of two rollers c to which the ends of the cord are secured, the rollers being normally held by ratchet wheels and pawls e, e<2>.
