[Class 16.] In a book cover a of the kind having a strip of resilient material such as indiarubber applied to the edges thereof so as to project outwardly from the edges, the resilient strip b includes a rib c adapted to be secured in grooves formed in the edges of the cover. The ribmay be secured in the groove by adhesive, and may be dove-tailed to fit an undercut groove. The strip may be wide enough to overhang one or both sides of the cover, and may be overlapped around the edges.
