7830. Davidson, T. March 31. Moulding.-In moulding glass flower blocks &c., a blank a, Fig. 1, is first formed in the usual way by means of a mould b, cover c, and plungers d. The plungers and cover are removed while the central parts of the blank a are still plastic. A cover f, Fig. 2, is then applied, and the mould inverted so as to allow the still plastic parts g to extend under their own weight as shown.
