Envelopes.-An envelope of the kind in which an ungummed inspection flap is inserted in a pocket formed by securing a loose strip of paper to the back of the envelope, consists of a front portion 1, an ungummed flap 5, and side flaps 2, 3, which are folded over the flap 5, and are gummed down upon the loose strip of paper 20. After the contents are inserted behind the strip 20 the closing-flap 4 is gummed down. Strengthening-strips 6, 7 may be provided on the side flaps 2, 3.
