Abstract

Plate apparatus. - Apparatus applicable as a condenser or steam water - heater, or for use in warming rooms or for cooling the water of internal - combustion motors, is constructed of pairs of plates having nodules closely spaced, the nodules of one plate entering those of the opposite plate. The nodules may be formed'on one or both sides of the plates and in separate vertical rows, as shown in Fig. 1, or staggered as shown in Fig. 4.
