Couplings, disconnectible. -Relates to couplings of the type in which a gasket is retained by a bush screwing into the coupler-head, the fluid in the pipe gaining access to the back of a jointing-flange c on the gasket through a slot and perforations in the bush. The bush has a conical body b<2>. The body e of the packing is cylindrical externally to fit a recess in the coupler head, and conical internally to fit the bush. The back edge of the body e is preferably chamfered as shown.
