Sights. - Relates to aperture back-sights of the type comprising an horizontal projecting arm sliding on a vertical bar which is pivoted at the side of the breech body, and consists in mounting the horizontal arm so that it can turn as well as slide on the bar, and in mounting the aperture sight so as to be capable of independent vertical adjustment. The arm e is carried by a sleeve c, which can turn as well as slide on the round bar a, but which is normally prevented from rotation by a spring stud n, which engages a groove in the bar. The sleeve is provided with a clamping-screw d. The aperture sight is carried by a slide f mounted on the arm e and provided with a set-screw i. The aperture sight can be vertically adjusted independently by a screw and nut m.
