Abstract
18,483. Rose, W., and Rose Bros. Aug. 11. Cam mechanism.-In cam gearing of the kind in which a duplex cam is used to produce positive motion both forwards and backwards, the cam-levers 6, 9 are connected by a spring 10 and held apart by distance-pieces 11. One of the levers is loose on the shaft 7, but the spring 10 is designed to preserve the normal distance between the levers except under unusual strain.
