Abstract

17,977. Mackintosh, W. M. Aug. 4. Tent pegs and tethering-pegs of the type having a channel or multiple - channel section, are constructed of aluminium, magnalium, or other light metal. The peg may be provided with projections f, E, formed in one with the peg or punched-out therefrom as shown in Figs. 3 and 8, and a steel point D may be provided. In a modification, the peg may be made hollow as shown in Figs. 9 and 10, a wooden striking-block J being provided. The peg may be provided with projections on the exterior, and the spike D may be formed with teeth d as shown in Fig. 14.
