Abstract

16,634. Lucas, H., and Edwards, W. H. July 16. Brackets, lamp.-Lamps for motor-cycles &c. are provided with a pair of attachment devices situated on opposite sides of the lamp, so as to allow a pivotal movement of the lamp about either attachment device for directing the light to either side or to the rear of the vehicle for inspection purposes or for repairs. Each attachment device consists of clip portions a, b with a clamping-bolt c for detachably securing the lamp to a bracket member g. In a modification, a detachable pivot pin j, Fig. 4, may be used to connect socket members h, e on the lamp and bracket.
