Compasses, magnetic; sketching - boards. - A magnetic compass for use with a sketching- board is provided with a reflecting - mirror e rotatable upon n horizontal pivots f, and vertically rotatable through a ring b on the compass box a. The arms c may also be pivoted at cl so that the mirror e is adjustable about a second horizontal axis. The compass is attached to the sketching-board by a screw g adapted to pass through a hole in the board and provided with a thumb-nut h.
