Projectiles.- Relates to shells provided with bullets fired during flight, and consists in making such shells with trapezoidal shrapnel chambers 2 ... 5 in communication with a central explosive chamber 1, and with walls 7 containing cartridges 9 directed outwards and rearwards. The cartridges are connected by passages 10, 11 to a time fuse. Projectile fuses.-The time fuse for the abovedescribed projectiles comprises tubular primer pellets 13 which set back at the time of discharge on to firing-pins 15, a fixed perforated and grooved disk 19, and an adjustable time disk 25 with fuse composition in interrupted grooves 29, 30 and with passages 27, 28.
