10,688. Lawton, R. Nov. 5. Spigot-andsocket joints held by cement and the like.-Drainpipes have a cement or like support B moulded within the socket. The support has an inclined surface b, and may extend wholly or partly round the socket. The support may have corrugations parallel to the axis of the pipe. A recess b<4> is provided behind the support. The support may be only at the lower side of, or may extend all round, the socket ; or it may be in circumferential portions with spaces between. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 17,127/92.
