Auxiliary-rim attachments to wheels. -The auxiliary rim b is attached at the side of the fixed rim a by separate detachable clamping- devices, each comprising a central member h shaped to engage the adjacent edges of the two rims and pivoted or sliding upon a bracket e, which carries fixed and adjustable claws l, s, respectively. To facilitate assemblage, the member h is controlled by a spring k, and the extremities of the claws l, s may be hinged to swing away from the rim flanges. In a modification, the claw s is pivoted on an inwardlyextending lug on the bracket c and is adjusted by means of a set-screw.
