Levels, regulating. - Apparatus for automatically varying the load and pressure on a gas governor comprises a tank into and from which water is continually flowing, the amount of liquid in the tank being determined by the raising or lowering of a flexible outlet tube, the movement of which is controlled by clock-driven tappets. Fig. 1 shows the tank b, the flexible outlet pipe p being operated by the lever a, the short end of which is depresesd by tappets e arranged on the clockdriven dial d. Fig. 2 shows the lever f which disengages the locking-rod h from the end of the lever a and allows this to rise and the pipe p to fall.
