Signs.-An illuminated sign, letter, or device advertising - sign is produced by a vertical member of U or equivalent shape in crosssection, and a front half skeleton frame 8<a>, corresponding in shape to the back half-frame and with its members of V, U, or equivalent shape in cross-section. The front half-frame carries glass or other transparent material, and is hinged to the back half-frame. Each member of the back half-frame contains one or more rods 2 bearing adjustable clips 8 for electric lamps 6, which are provided with plugs to connect them up to the main wires leading from a socket in one of the members of the device.
