Cooking-vessels ; jackets. -A steamer for use with saucepans &c. comprises an outer vessel H and an inner vessel E resting on a ledge B in the outer vessel and having a projecting rim A at the top. Both vessels are covered by a lid. Steam enters through a hole C in the bottom of the outer vessel, and passes through apertures in the bottom of the vessel E, through holes F, and out through a hole D. The utensil can be made of china, stoneware, earthenware, or any kind of metal.
