Abstract

27,283. Landis, H., and Gyr, K. H., [trading as Landis & Gyr]. Dec. 15. Eneryy meters.-In an induction motor meter an L-shaped core g for the pressure coil, and a U-shaped core d for the current coil, are mechanically connected by an iron frame f having a projection f which directs the path of the effective flux of the pressure coil through an airgap in which the driving-disk c rotates, while paths for the non-effective flux are closed through iron circuits e forming part of the frame f. The paths of the.effective fluxes are in planes at right-angles to one another. An adjustable solid or laminated iron bridge-piece p may be arranged as a magnetic shunt to the core g to enable the phase-difference between the fields to be adjusted ; or this regulation may be effected by a short-circuited coil, in a known manner. Several such field systems may act on one disk.
