Making agricultural forks.-Triangular pieces a, Fig. 1, for the tines, are stamped out, pressed to the grooved form shown in Fig. 2 or other suitable shape, and bent as in Fig. 3. A stamped-out blank b, Fig. 4, is grooved to correspond to the tines, which are secured in it by screws c, by rivets, or by soldering or welding. The blank b is folded over at the end to form a socket for the handle. Strengthening-ribs f may be added to the portion b, which may also be partly cut away.
