Abstract

[Cognate Application No. 807, A.D. 1909, dated Jan. 13.] Boat raising, lowering, and disengaging gear.-The chocks E are of the scissor type, and the pivots G are guided in slots H of brackets F. Gripes L are attached to the arms E of the chocks, the free ends of the gripes being provided with slip-links M. When the gripes are released, the chocks collapse and fall away from the boat, the shorter arms I sliding outwardly in guides J. The slip-links of one or more boats may be released simultaneously by means of a deck line P provided with branch lines Q.
