[Cognate Application No. 17,976, A.D. 1908, dated Aug. 27.] Sewage, treating; precipitants.-Ferric sulphate slabs or blocks, for sewage treatment, are moulded from the mass obtained by treating the ferric hydrate of bauxite with sulphuric acid. The mass may be mixed with silica or with sand, or with the compound, containing aluminium sulphate, formed as described in Specification No. 25,227, A.D. 1907. The blocks may be coated or faced with, or immersed in lime, cement, or clay with or without the addition of water.
