Act, 1907.] Oxidizing; nitrogen oxides.-Nitrogen and other gases, mixed with oxygen, such as air, are oxidized by ozonizing the oxygen and heating the product by means of a gas or acetylene flame, or by a furnace or electric arc. If a high temperature is used, the products formed must be cooled.
