Abstract
13,961. Eoslin, L. E. July 1. Teeth, artificial.-An artificial tooth is provided with a metallic box 30, Fig. 2, into which fits a tongue 37 having a lug 42 by which it can be soldered to a backing 43. The box 30, Fig. 15, has conveying side walls 31 bevelled extensively at the inner end 36 and less at the outer end 35, and may also be flared at the inner end, as shown, to hold more cement. The tooth is made with a shoulder 22, Fig. 7, at the rubber line, and a shoulder 23 at the cervical border, the position of which is determined by measurements 24, 25, and the posterior surface 29 is determined by measurements 26, 27, 28 from the dividing line 21 in the mould, so that teeth of the same type are interchangeable.
