Preserving milk.-Apparatus for sterilizing milk comprises two or more cylindrical vessels 4, 5 communicating by a pipe 7 at the bottom and placed in a water-tank 1 heated by a furnace &c. 3. The milk flows from a tank &c. 8 through the vessels and a cooler 17. Stirrers 11 are rotated by belt gearing 13, 15. Sockets 19 for thermometers 20 are provided upon the outlet pipe 23 and upon the sides or lids of the vessels 4, 5.
