Window blinds.- Relates to the type of roller having a longitudinal groove in which the blind or the like is so secured by a locking-bar or wedge piece as to be locked more firmly by a pull on the long end of the blind, and to be released by a pull on its short end. The groove is formed with two undercut sides 1, 2, of which 1 is deeper than 2, and with two longitudinal ridges 3, 4. A suitable locking-piece c, of which three forms are illustrated in the Specification, is pushed with the blind first under the deeper wall 1 and then under the wall 2.
