Abstract
11,333. Bayer, H. May 25. Kinematographs.-A device for obtaining synchronism between a phonograph and a kinematograph of the type in which visible signals are given by the phonograph and the running of the kinematograph is thereby regulated, is provided with an indicating-device set in motion by the phonograph and having a constantly-moved indicating-member u, which is provided with a radial slot v and is visible from a distance. The operator at the kinematograph rotates a similarly-arranged rotary pointer l at the same angular speed as the member u, thereby maintaining synchronism. A number of stationary illuminated apertures x may be provided on the cover w corresponding to the lines on the disk m<1> so as to facilitate the regulation. The indicating-devices are operated by long shafts g, q and worm-gearing, and may have a straight-line or rocking motion instead of a circular motion.
