Abstract

9900. Richmond, F. Nov. 9. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Primary batteries. - A carbon porous pot B of the kind described in Specification No. 3962, A.D. 1907, having a charging- aperture Q closed by a stopper Q<1>, is inserted into a zinc vessel A and d is separated therefrom at the bottom by an insulating- stand E' made of two crossed celluloid, ebonite, or like strips C, D, and at the top by a rubber or like washer F which may be slightly tapered. The zinc has soldered to it a wire terminal covered with insulating-material, or a metal strap with a hole for connexion, or a small lug fitted with a terminal.
