The brakes are controlled by two magnets in separate circuits from track conductors to the signaloperating magnets, and the controlling-apparatus is similar to that described in Specification No. 4680, A.D. 1909, for the purpose of preventing actuation of the brakes if the engine passes off a ramp while current is passing.
