Kinematographs. - Kinematographic pictures which appear in relief are projected from a single positive film, Fig. 6, printed by superposition, from right and left hand negatives, Fig. 5, in which a picture alternates with a blank' space. These negatives are taken by synchronously actuated kinematographs or by suitable obscuration of the shutters of ordinary apparatus. The idea of relief can be obtained by polarising the projecting beams and viewing the projected pictures through analysers.
