Abstract

25,405. Lake, W. E., [Aktiebolaget Separator]. Nov. 15. Cream-separators etc.; drums. - To allow the upright curved liner plates b to be widely separated for cleaning purposes, they are connected by bars, bands, chain links, or the like which pass through them obliquely, or alternately horizontally and vertically. In Fig. 1, the bars e, which are linked together, are shown passing obliquely from top to bottom of the liner. The bars may, however, be unconnected, lugs being formed on them to prevent the plates from slipping off. The bard shown in Fig. 4 are arranged alternately horizontally and vertically. In other modifications, they pass through the plates in zigzag fashion. Two or more series of bars &c. may be employed in a single liner.
