24,422. Childs, E. Nov. 5. Candlesticks.-Save-all candlesticks, of the type in which candles of various sizes are held by upstanding wires regulated by a vertically-movable disk, are constructed with three equidistant wires A soldered &c. as at C to a base B. The wires A tend to spring outwardly, and are regulated by a perforated tray D, which is moved over the wires to cause them to grip the candle, and holds the wires by friction only. The tray D can be removed for cleaning purposes. In a modification, the wires A are replaced by a stamped metal disk with three projecting prongs.
