The glazed sheets c are fed forwards over guiding-fingers to nip-rollers a supported in spring-controlled bearings, and are engaged by guides e, which may extend the whole length of the centre table b, and which serve to prevent the sheets from riding up. The niprollers a are kept continuously rotating by suitable gearing. The fabric d is fed on to the centre table by a laying-device of suitable form.
