Hem - stitching machines; feed. - Relates to improvements upon the machine described in Specification No. 8237, A.D. 1905, and consists in adding one or two more heads to the machine. Fig. 1 shows the machine with three heads. As in the prior Specification, the separate top shafts are geared to a long shaft at the back, the work plate is extended, and the feed and stitch-forming devices are linked and geared together. Auxiliary feeds and pressers are provided between. the heads. Cloth-guides v, v<1> are fitted to the additional heads. A knee-lever w may be used to raise the presseru. The work may be fed to and from the machines by roller tables.
