Abstract

14,701. Jordan, H. G., and Jordan, G. R., [trading as Jordan & Son, H.]. June 26. Window blinds.-The usual depending bars to which are attached the inner ends of the extension bars D of an ordinary sun-blind or shop blind are dispensed with, and are replaced by arms A attached by straps E or the like to pillars inside the window and passing through holes in the sash bars C. Where no pillars exist, the arms are attached to or formed in one with vertical bars F, Fig. 5, suitably secured to the floor and ceiling or other support. Short vertical guide-rods G, each supported by two arms A one above the other, may be provided in cases where it is necessary to raise the inner ends of the extension bars D after the blind is drawn down.
