4765. Watts, J. R. Feb. 27. Trouser presses are formed of two boards A, B. Flat metal plates C, C' with open slots at one end project beyond one edge of the top board A, to which they are secured. Right-angled metal plates D are secured to the lower board B by screwed bolts E. The projecting ends of the plates C, C' rest on the upper edges of the angle-plates D, and the bolts E pass through the slots in the plates C, C', pressure being obtained by means of wing- nuts F, F<1> on the bolts.
