Studs; neck-tie retainers.-A retainer for studs &c. consists of a disk A, in a central aperture of which is an india-rubber diaphragm B perforated at C, a flexible tongue D with apertures E, G being attached to the disk A. The device may be used simply as a stud-retainer, or in addition, to bind a collar K to a shirt H, as shown in Fig. 2; or the band D may serve as a neck-tie retainer, as shown in Fig. 5.
