Abstract
3091. Sellman, E. Feb. 7. Teapots &c. - Spouts are formed with a flange c, and are passed out from the inside of the vessel. A bulge b is then formed, and the whole is compressed over the edges, Fig. 2. The joint may be soldered. In the Provisional Specification, it is stated that the vessels are of aluminium or other soft metal, and that washers may be used to strengthen the joint, which may be riveted or coated with aluminium paint.
