Abstract
1194. Ames, J. F. Jan. 16. Folding paper.- In a machine for making bags, the material is folded by a blade 29 which is lowered against the action of a spring 107 by levers 106, Figs. 1 and 8, which are actuated by a cam 103 on an horizontally-reciprocating bar 101. At the ends of the levers 106 are pivoted pieces 112 which may be adjusted by screws 115 to cause both of them to engage simultaneously with the folding-blade 29.
